Privacy policy

Set2Go is safety administration for construction. It is not a statutory WHS system, and the records it keeps are operational records for the company that invited you.

Who this policy covers

We collect personal information about company admins who create a workspace, and about workers and other people those companies invite or check in. If you are a worker, your employer or the principal contractor (our customer) decides why that information is needed. We process it to provide Set2Go.

What we collect

• Name, work email, company, and role
• Account credentials. Check-in PINs are stored only as a hash, not as the digits you chose
• Induction progress, quiz results, slide view times, and certificates
• Site check-in and check-out times, the site you entered, and rule or SWMS acknowledgements
• A signature, and a one-off device location if you allow it, when you sign an SWMS. Location is optional and is not tracked in the background
• Messages you send us from the contact form

We do not ask for continuous GPS, and we do not sell personal information.

Why we collect it

We use this information to run the service you or your company asked for: invitations, inductions, gate check-in, and the on-site record. We also use it to secure accounts, reply to you, and keep the service reliable. We collect what we need for those purposes (Australian Privacy Principle 3) and tell you about it here (APP 5).

Where it is held

The application is hosted by Vercel, which may process a request in Australia or another country. The production database and file storage are hosted by Supabase in the AWS Asia Pacific (Tokyo) region. Email is sent by Resend. Those providers handle personal information for us, including outside Australia (APP 8). We use them to provide Set2Go, and we do not authorise them to use it for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

Your company admin and the people they authorise can see the induction and check-in records for their own workspace. We share information with the hosting, database, and email providers above, and if the law requires it. We do not give worker records to other Set2Go customers.

Access, correction, and complaints

You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it (APP 12 and 13). Email hello@settogo.com.au. If you are a worker, your company can also update your record in Set2Go. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

How long we keep it

We keep workspace records while the company is a customer and for a reasonable period after, so they can export their operational history and so we can handle a dispute. We delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it for that purpose, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Security

Workspaces are separated by tenant, and access is limited to signed-in users of that company. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Please use a unique password and keep check-in PINs to yourself.
